Gregorio Pablo Rodríguez-Arbolay is a queer Afro-Latinx educator, writer, researcher, and cultural curator based in Tiohtià:ke/Mooniyang, historically known as Montréal. Gregorio holds a PhD in Cultural and Media Studies from Concordia University, where he taught as a part-time lecturer in Art History and Sexuality Studies. He is currently working on a book manuscript on Queer of Colour Film and Video in Québec. Gregorio curates public programming on queer diasporic art and culture such as film screenings/festivals and artist talks. He is developing a bilingual monthly film series showcasing Indigenous, Black, and racialized 2SLGBTQ+ cultural productions in Québec. Gregorio was trained in video art at The New School and is rebuilding his artistic practice after many years of working in academia.

Born and raised in The Bronx, NYC (Lenape Tribe Lands) to a multiracial immigrant Latinx family of Cuban and Boricua ancestry, Gregorio has been living in Tiohtià:ke/ Mooniyang/Montréal for the past decade. He previously lived and studied in Germany and the UK.
