Our final project of 2024 is a SeedPool residency, taking place in the first two weeks of December.
ALP is uniquely positioned as an organisation dedicated to building bridges of communication and exchange. This has already begun to manifest in some deep and rich thinking around collaborative potential and ALP’s role in this landscape. The Moving Together / Arriving Together Residency allows us to expand this circle of research/consultation to a larger sphere of BIPOC artists/organisations, from whom we can source additional/best practices for collaborative creation working methodologies, and coalesce and test them amongst our peers.
We will be working with six themes:
Understanding decolonisation
Clarifying collaborative pathways
Creating common ground
Building equitable relationships
Capacity building, support, and agency
Collaborative decision-making and co-creation
