This is an original seed

This song was gifted on the banks of Guysborough Harbour in Nova Scotia. In the Garifuna tradition, songs are gifted from our Ancestors. When i receive a song i research the words in the Garifuna dictionary and the Yoruba dictionary to see what it might mean. When I researched Simi Lo I found these meanings: Simi=breath Simi Lo=take a breath Awe=we swim, Mawe=stones So the message in this song came from the grandmother stones: Take a breath. We Swim.
