What transformative teachings, possibilities and joys can be unlocked from properly honouring and metabolizing personal, communal and cultural grief?
How do we better commune with BIPGM artists who are building new futures for themselves, as a loving act of creative and spiritual resistance?
How can we animate our capacity to learn from and with people whose worlds have had to be repeatedly reinvented in the face of violence, derision and doubt?
Throughout May, we’re excited to host Village Stories, a 3-part interactive live webinar series that will explore these questions, and more, through the lens of the Arrivals Legacy Project signature process for unearthing legacy stories.
Join us around the fire as we hear from culturally rooted artists and activists based in Canada, the US, Africa and West Asia/North Africa who will share their experiences of the Arrivals work and the ways that it has informed and transformed their relationships, creative processes and work.
