The aim of this unique virtual workshop series, run in partnership with Black Theatre Workshop and the Black Community Resource Centre in Montreal during the pandemic, was to celebrate English Black histories in Quebec. The project invited artists and community members to enter into a creative dialogue with the English black histories that have shaped the province by exploring their own ancestral lineage.
Out of this process a digital installation was produced, including performative storytelling and emerging works.
