This quilt represents the cycle of birth, death and the incredible power found in the human spirit to transform. The quilt depicts deep inner space and deep outer space too!

On my personal journey I have been supported by the Ancestors represented in the copper hand prints in the cave and the spiral of DNA.

We are meant to dream and enter the sacred space to explore our beingness through the rituals, dances and songs that our ancestors left behind. If we embrace fearlessly the truth of our lives, we enter the unknown world where spirits exist to help us evolve. The wolf, mouse woman, copper woman and the white buffalo are all spirit helpers that have entered my world and dreams to help bring about transformation. The quilted swirls and spirals represent the unconditional love that is the most powerful force in the universe. The skeleton is me coming apart and the Thunderbird is me now ignited and reaching for the hole in the sky.

My people say there is a hole in the sky, a thousand birds have shown me the way, but I cannot go there without you. I cannot go there without you.
