In this chapter, Diane Roberts sheds light on how the Arrivals Personal Legacy process has become a powerful tool for grappling with the unknown and bridging divides.
She charts the development of the process with collaborators, and co-facilitators Heather Hermant, Danielle Smith,
Rosemary Georgeson, Jude Wong, and Liliona Quarmyne, whose reflections on the process are shared in the chapter.
As a tool for enacting an approach to collaborative responsibility that draws on the reclamation of memory through the wisdom of the body, mind and spirit, the process calls for a deep witnessing of one another’s Ancestral stories.
Diane describes how the team addresses trauma arising from the emerging stories through the process.
