A first proposal of the colours through which I saw my place in the world before meeting my ancestor, and after meeting my ancestor. This serves as a first landing space to feel through these colours, with the intention to continue to create visuals with this as a foundation (Lo).

in this experimental short, I incarnate both my grandmother, Eulalie, and her mother-in-law, Gracia, cooked for the family together, in their home in San Juan, Trinidad, and who always spoke to each other in Spanish. I explore my grandmother’s staunch Catholic faith vs Gracia’s perhaps not.
